Fangfei knows her husband is cheating on her.

Fangfei whirls around. It’s almost dark, but the light of a nearby lamp illuminates the man’s face clearly: it’s the Duke of Su.
She sees his gaze rove over her, and pause at the hand on her belly.
She drops her hand as if burnt, and his eyes flit up to meet hers again, recognition clear in them and she stammers, “The— the food didn’t agree with me, and I couldn’t find the toilet.”

Xue FangFei aurait dû savoir, elle avait été avertie. Pourtant le chemin qu'elle avait choisi aujourd'hui l'avait menée au lieu du pire cauchemar de son enfance quand à huit ans des rêves avaient marqué sa vie, l'avaient transformée.
Pourquoi ces décisions avaient eu un impact positif pour Ming-Shushu mais pour elle, il semblait qu'elle se trouva encore dans ce trou à rats ? Elle aurait dû savoir que Shen YuRong n'était pas si aimable que cela, après tout elle avait été enterrée vivante dans son cauchemar.
Il était frustrant pour elle d'avoir retenu ce qui ne la concernait pas elle personnellement mais plus ce qui concernaient les autres. Pourquoi n'avait-elle pas retenu que Shen YuRong s'étaient laissé corrompre et avait une grande lâcheté de caractère ? Qui était celui qui lui avait donné un profond sentiment de confiance et une grande envie de vivre sa vie avec lui ?
Mais peut-être que certaines tragédies ne peuvent-elles être évitées ? Car certaines épreuves forgent la personnalité et la noblesse - ou non - du caractère.
