Poetry is the manifestations of the will to encourage... like the battle drums, like the low rumbling before the storm.
Going up and down and back up again… and finally, back down, she mused, was as ridiculous as a game of snakes and ladders. Her mind drifted back to that fleeting moment in her childhood. Aether had sat across from her, giggling madly, his piece now firmly in the lead at the row of squares two above her. He always managed to avoid the snakes! It wasn’t fair! Why was she the only one who slid down and climbed up and did it over and over and over again only for him to keep on the same path, steadily climbing until he won the game!?
A win for me is a win for you, silly sister of mine.
The coo in Aether’s young voice lifted her spirits as it reverberated through her mind. In her memories, he was always joyful, always content, always hopeful. She hoped… no… She wished beyond all wishes that somewhere deep inside, he still held that spark.
“As long as you’re with Venti… As long as you win this game, Aether… I’ll climb to the end. No matter how many times I fall. Without fail.”

Aether really didn't think splitting from his sister during their travels was *that* big of a deal. They'd done it once or twice before and both twins needed a small break from traveling eons with each other around this time anyways.
-until he was caught off-guard by an angry cube lady in a random world and fought a tad too long that he exhaust enough of his power needed to open a dimensional rift. Now he can't even call Lumine to rant about it because *surely* she'd laugh at him and tease him for needing to be fetched just because he can't open a rift all on his own at his big age.
Follow Aether as he adventures through Teyvat because he's totally just having a bit too much fun traveling this one world and isn't actually stranded for who knows how long until he recovers his energy. Totally.
