It feels like minutes, but it’s probably only one and some change, before Awsten starts to calm down. His eyelids blink open, and he searches for Otto immediately, needing the comfort of seeing his face. And there he is, flushed and wide-eyed, as if Awsten was the prettiest thing he’s ever seen.
Awsten remembers thinking that, too.
