“Here,” Izuku said, holding the door open so Shinsou had enough room to get inside.
“Wanna talk about what happened?”
Shinsou shook his head quickly, and Izuku would have accepted that answer and moved on, except he saw how Shinsou took a breath and prepared himself.
“N-no,” Shinsou replied, verbally this time, and Izuku’s smile somehow widened further.

Aizawa knew they were natural, and knew that for whatever reason the natural growing roots were now black, so it made sense. If they cut off the natural green, it wouldn’t grow back.
“We will keep it, ok? You don’t need to cut your hair, I promise.”

Yet, he was here, breaking his bones over and over in what Shouta felt was a dangerous attempt to prove his worth.
It was foolish.
When it came time to test the student’s abilities, Shouta explained that the person in last would be expelled. Shouta swallowed a tinge of guilt as he silently hoped that Izuku would come in last.
