Hawks feels hunted.

He blinked wide eyed up at Ichiro, heart pounding in his chest as the man leaned over him. His jawline was stiff, indicating that he was gritting his teeth, and his eyes were firey, intense, showing so much emotion that Hawks didn’t understand. When had he become that important? When had... when had Ichiro begun to care that much?

Summary
Hawks is used to working long shifts, used to running on fumes, used to generally being worked like a machine, because that's what he is. It's what he was trained--made--for. If he doesn't, there's hell to pay from the people who own him. He's never really been cared for in any meaningful way. So why the hell is the villain that hates him acting like he gives a damn? And what is he supposed to do when he starts to see the cracks in his worldview?
Once again, I am really bad at summaries, and have no beta readers. Basically, Hawks learns what it's like to be taken care of and falls in love along the way, no matter how hard he fights it. Dabi is really, really bad at hiding how much he cares, but thank god Hawks is completely oblivious half the time. There will be angst, and pining, and Hawks generally being the smart, self-destructive hero we all know and love.
Warnings to note: Hawks is, like, really damaged from how the Commission treats him, Dabi is still a villain, and there are some pretty dark themes in this story. I'll update the taglist as we go, but be prepared.

A little way in front of him, cast in the glow of the moonlight, is Touya.
He looks ethereal, unearthly, like something not from this world, something Keigo could not possibly comprehend.
Keigo would appreciate the sight if not for the fact that his boyfriend currently has his face to someone else’s throat. The sound of slurping fills the air, blood dripping from Touya’s mouth and covering his arms.
The victim has lost consciousness at this point, either from fear or blood loss, and is lying limp under him. Touya pulls away briefly, bringing his long fingers to his mouth to lick them clean.
Keigo wants to cry.
He has to get out of here.
Touya is not human.

Keigo's boyfriend, Touya, has always been weird. He thinks nothing of it until one night the truth is presented to him in the most terrifying way possible. And Keigo is an idiot for not seeing it before.
