Summary
When snakes frighten her horses and the carriage nearly plummets into a ravine, it is hardly the new beginning that Reyna Johnson was hoping for when she traveled to Mos Eisley. But perhaps the one she should have expected considering how her life had gone up until that point.
So she is completely bewildered when she finds herself rescued by the two kind blacksmiths in town, Ben Solo and Poe Dameron. They are uncommonly kind and courteous and Rey starts to feel hope bloom once more. Hope that she had found her home. And while she does feel indebted for saving her life, she knows her affection for the tall quiet blacksmith, Ben, extends far beyond just gratitude. True, he is a little peculiar and some would consider him odd but that is precisely what Rey likes about Ben. He isn't like anyone else she's ever met. Gentle and sweet and supportive of her and her dreams the way few men in their time could ever be.
She never would have suspected, however, that he wasn't from her time at all.
