Summary
Nancy Wheeler was adjusting to life in Boston. She had adapted to the bustle of city life—honking cars, the omnipresent, comforting smell of garbage, street foods of all different cultures, and factory and exhaust smoke with just a slight breeze from the ocean, people who don’t care about you trying to get from place to place—and though she certainly didn’t her way around Boston perfectly, she was getting there.
Still, she missed Hawkins. She missed her friends, her family, the kids, and most of all, Robin. Every day being almost a thousand miles away from Robin felt like a decade, and she couldn't wait until winter vacation to see her girlfriend.
And she may not have to wait that long.
