“Promise me,” he whispers, his gaze turning permeating. “ Promise me that no matter what we wont leave each other, we will do our best to make sure both of us are happy.”
“We won’t. I will always stay by your side, good and bad days. I promise,” Riki replies, trying to put every ounce of conviction into his words.
“I promise too,” Jungwon says and his eyes shine with certainty.
Jungwon raises up his hand and extends his pinky finger. “Pinky promise?” he asks, and it’s a joke, but one that barely crosses the threshold from seriousness.
Or in other words Riki was in love with everything Jungwon. They made a promise to stick by each other forever.
