More frustrating still, he made those colours richer: realer, that is. They were all at once spoiled and also sparked into life by the smugness he held on his face now.
Haru wrinkled his nose. ‘You smell,’ he murmured, still muzzy with sleep and far too petulant for a thirty-year-old man.
‘No, I don’t,’ Daisuke replied, unmoved, and because Haru had nothing to say to refute that, he merely mumbled for the other man to shut up and tucked his head back under his chin, squeezing him tighter to quell the flow of warmth leaking from his chest. As it turned out, it only further spread the warmth between them.

And lastly her mentor, who was a little forced to come along as the group's unofficial babysitter, Veda was about fifty percent sure he didn't mind too much. Together they come together as a group to hopefully save their kingdom.
