Summary
“You,” she pointed her chopsticks at Edwina, “are a witch.”
Edwina’s mind gave up on her.
“Uh huh. That’s not very funny, Brettany, Halloween’s a month away.”
Brettany only looked at her with half-lidded dead eyes. Immediately, Edwina could feel the bubble tea in her hand trying to escape towards Brettany. Irritated, she tugged it back.
“See?” Brettany grinned, one hand now holding another drink, her own set on the floor. “Witch.”
Or, Edwina Chen, mostly ordinary high schooler, befriended an odd girl, found out she was a witch, and gained a cat.

Summary
Scott seemed to break out of some sort of trance. “No, no, I don't mind,” he sounded very sincere. His eyes met Jims, “I liked hearing you talk.”
For some reason that felt so good to hear, even if it was from a stranger. No one really enjoyed listening to him and his silly rambles, his loved ones just sort of tolerated it so as not to shut him down. But here was Scott, giving him attention and carefully listening to him despite having no obligation to do so. It was so new, so nice, and Jimmy knew he was about to do something he’d probably regret later.
“Do you uh, do you have a pen?” He asked, and Scott, despite looking utterly confused, went and retrieved one. Jimmy grabbed a napkin and quickly sprawled down his number and wrote his name.
“Uh, in case you want to listen to me talk any more.”
In which Jimmy gives his number to the flirty bartender and his life is reshaped by a new, cyan haired addition.
All the chapter titles and the story line have been inspired by Leanna Firestone songs! For reference, the lyric used is the inspo and the song title is in parentheses beside it.
