(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Context that no one reads♥
The five Arthurian Romances by Chrétien de Troyes is all about romance defying social construct. A chivalry, courageous and honourable type, conveying courtly love and national unity. I had only found out about this poetry book very late but coincidentally it complimented the story brilliantly, so I have featured it in this piece. I decided to name this book after all five novels, calling this the 6th Arthurian Romances, as it is also set in that time. Essentially, it is about love between two different classes. As you know they took King's bloodlines very seriously as well as the hierarchy in the 12th century. But what if this king, like the Knight of Lion and the Knight of Cart, followed their hearts rather than society?Never written a historical book before so please 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭 :)

Summary
Baldwin IV of Jerusalem thought his story was over—until he made a desperate deal on his deathbed. The mysterious entity gave him a second chance at life, curing him of the disease that had been his undoing.
The catch?
He wakes up in the early 2000s, stuck in the body of his sixteen-year-old self and completely out of his depth. No crown, no kingdom, and no idea how to survive in a world of cell phones, fast food, and high school.
With no money or family, Baldwin stumbles across an eccentric pair of grandparents who actually believe his wild tales of medieval glory and take him in. But adjusting to modern life isn’t easy—especially when you’ve got history class, a whole new set of rules, and no army to command.
Can Baldwin IV rewrite his story in a world where the past is just another subject on the syllabus?
Sorry for the English, I use a translator to help me since English is not my first language.
