Seonghwa blinked rapidly, heart hammering as he realized he had been completely oblivious. He glanced back toward the man, noticing a smug smirk curling his lips as he continued to look directly at him.
San’s voice floated over him, warm and patient, “Seonghwa, this is-” He paused, flicking his eyes toward his friend for a second. “-Captain.”
He forced himself to step forward, clearing his throat. “Uh- hi,” he managed, awkwardly aware of how stiff his words sounded.
“Hey, pretty boy,” Captain’s voice sounded after a second too long, the smirk on his lips stretching wider as Seonghwa tensed up and color rose to his cheeks.
