“Get over who?” Alex can’t stop himself from asking as he steps out of the hallway. Both man jump up in surprise.
“No one,” Henry pipes quickly.
“Oh, you know,” Pez supplies, “Miles.”
“Oh, your ex? I thought you were over him already.”
“I am,” Henry squeaks.
“He just needs a rebound, don’t you, Haz?” Pez winks at his friend. “To really get past it.”Or, when Alex needs a home, Henry welcomes him in. So when Henry starts dating again, Alex can't be anything but supporting, right? Right?!

He should put his earbuds back in, listen to some music for ten minutes, ignore it.
But he couldn't move and couldn't quite reach them from there, so he just lay there, listening.
A low moan came drifting upstairs, and Buck bit his lip.

Another muted whine and he felt the blood rush straight to his dick.

“Oscar?” The close to immediate silence was somehow worse than the sobbing. Daniel pictured Oscar freezing at the voice, furiously wiping his face dry, anything to deny that he had been crying. After a little hesitation, Daniel tried again. “Oscar? Are you alright?”
The reply came back in barely more than a whisper, Oscar’s voice choked up. “Yeah.” And then a little stronger. “Yeah.” He did not sound alright.
(Daniel opens his door one evening to reveal Oscar having a Mysterious Breakdown. Of course he wants to do his best to comfort Oscar but it would be great if his own sexuality crisis could come back another day.)
