Summary
They were running or, more precisely, Dazai was running, hastily pulling Chuuya along. Dazai's bare feet ached as they ran through the empty streets. The sky was dark and gloomy, the only lights being the streetlights doted down the large highway. The world surrounding them felt alien and unnerving, the dark and dirty was a stark contrast from the bare, whitewashed life he was used to. It felt unsettling to him, seeing the world they could barely remember before a world of white.
His thoughts were cut off by a wet cough causing him to stop running and turn around to face Chuuya. His hand was clammy in theirs and his skin was pale and feverish. He was swaying lightly; his eyes were glazed over.
"Come on Chuuya," He muttered quietly as they felt themself having to pull Chuuya harder and harder to keep up, "Just a little bit further."
