His breath comes in raw gulps, snatched between attacks at Dimitri’s lips, his jaw, his throat. This is why Felix hadn’t wanted to be touched, Dimitri can see now. The moment he was, every brick in his fragile facade was dust, and he became this thing of sheer emotion. All teeth, all rage, all ruthless power channelled into the fumble of his fingers at the clasp of Dimitri’s surcoat.In which Felix has a bad day, annoys some counsellors, and sits on a throne.
