what's the night before chirstmas eve, if not two brothers shit talking over eggnog and dabbling in drinks?
Dick chuckled dryly, leaning back into the couch. “Not exactly. And Bruce is…” He trailed off, unsure of how to put it into words. The complicated, tangled mess of emotions that always surfaced when Bruce’s name came up was something he’d never quite figured out how to talk about. Jason picks up that hesitance all the same.
"A lot?"
“Yeah,” Dick scoffs before taking a harsh swig. He looks at Jason knowingly and you don’t have to tell him twice. He makes his way back to the kitchen to find some good shit, and he finds a mixture of whiskey. When he opens the cork to take a whiff he grimaces. It's disgusting. He brings the bottle with him.
Dick holds out his mug, and Jason rolls his eyes pouring whiskey for him and for himself.
“Biggest understatement of the fucking year.” Dick shook his head with a sigh before looking down into his mug.
