Scourge looks at a cake. A lopsided cake dripping with half-melted frosting and haphazardly stabbed with dinner candles. It’s ugly, so ugly, obviously made with unskilled hands that don’t know what they’re doing...
Eclipse and the kids, who had no concept of Moebius-style birthdays, went through the trouble of making him a cake. The aliens looked for references of birthday cakes and then went about recreating it to the best of their abilities, and they had even tried to decorate it with things they thought Scourge would like.

No one from this planet had ever made Scourge a cake from scratch and decorated it with things he liked before. No one had ever cared about him enough to think he was worth celebrating, that he was worth all this trouble…
