Summary
As far as opening games go, Macklin’s pretty sure this one ranks in the top ten of all time.
It’s been a barn burner from start to finish. A wonderful, chippy disaster of back and forth scoring, penalties from both sides, and even a couple fights. But the piece de resistance, the cherry on top of the fucking cake just happened, and he just can’t quite believe it.
After a glance off the post and an in-air rebound, Macklin Celebrini just scored his third goal of the night to tie the game.
A hat trick. A hatty.
