Summary
When Bjorn returns from the first successful raid in the Mediterrenean, he brings with him a hefty bounty. Gold, jewels, steel and women are all injected into an ever-shifting world of plots, bloodlust and desire. The Fates/Norns have weaved many destinies, some made by long, golden thread, others cut short. All while the gods play with mortals and draw out their true destinies.
Yeah so this is my first published Ao3 work, I'm not sure where this is going I just wanted to play with the existing characters and have one of the sons of Ragnar create the Varangian Guard. Norse and Greek mythologies have so many similarities and I wanted to do a sort of 'one thousand and one nights' thing with it, but with maybe a bit of horror and supernatural elements. Hope you enjoy and constructive criticism is always welcome! <3
