TagsSummaryAziraphale lives in a seaside village, which hosts the Cirque du Bizarre! Part freak show, part carnival, the mystery of their acts and showcases must be illusions. Fancy rubber suits. Except. The latest attraction comes in the form of a great big Sea Serpent, locked up in a pretty glass cage. Aziraphale soon learns that the creature is real. He is sentient. And, surely, he has to rescue him.

TagsSummaryAfter trying to stop the second coming, Crowley is erased from the Book of Life. Aziraphale is forced to relive the years they spent together, before they're all forgotten. Bookmarked by TakeThyBeak14 Apr 2024 Bookmarker's Tags:Bookmarker's NotesPost-Season Two AU/Divergence. Crowley's been captured by Heaven after breaking in to talk to Jesus and try to stop the Second Coming, and his punishment is to be removed from the Book of Life. Aziraphale's watching on in increasing *horror*, held in place by the Metatron's power, as this happens. The process starts and Aziraphale rages, breaking free to hold Crowley as he disappears, then performing a hopeless seeming miracle to remember him, and personally watching Crowley's entire life in reverse as his timeline's being erased. Truly *seeing* Crowley in his entirety for the first time and loving him so much more fiercely. And then it's done and Aziraphale's own history is rewritten. Nothing much changes in the grand scheme, but he's lonely, unhappy, and just surviving rather than living. Then bits of Crowley's influence start to peek through, until when he's leaving with the Metatron he's CERTAIN that there's someone on the street he's drawn to look at, and finally sees an image and a name comes to his lips, then--BAM! Back in Heaven clinging to Crowley who's just been rewritten into the Book of Life (terrifying all of the angels), and it's an extremely happy reunion as Aziraphale confesses his love (he's loves him too much to ever forget him). They kiss, they decide they have a lot to talk about. Happy ending. > eternal sunshine of the spotless mind by gazing
