Summary
In Season 2, Episode 4 of Gravity Falls, Bill Cipher tricked Dipper into giving up his body. He nearly succeeded at destroying the journal and trapping Dipper in the mindscape.
The Book of Bill proved that Bill won every timeline but one. Every episode of the show has a potential death or loss for the kids, their choices changing their fate at just the last moment each time in the main universe.
In this timeline, Bill does not give Dipper’s body back, and Mabel can’t say a word. -

Summary
Mabel paused mid-step, then turned halfway around with a confused frown. “Hey, who’s Bill anyway?”
Dipper felt the tips of his ears flush as a presence materialised at his side, but he gritted his teeth through his answer of, “Nobody,” whilst steadfastly ignoring the glowing yellow form he could see in his peripheral.
It's exactly what you think it isn't - except dumber.

Summary
One evening, Grunkle Stan decides to clear out his attic full of junk, leaving the old body-swapping carpet laid out in the hallway. Soon, a distraught Mabel, having just been informed of her brother's decision to become Ford's apprentice, runs away with her brother hot on her heels.
The next thing Dipper knows, he's in his sister's body, having felt some weird compelling urge to continue what she was doing and run off into the woods. And it doesn't stop there. Spending a little more time in her shoes, he's forced to acknowledge why she was mad at him in the worst way; and then he's forced to acknowledge how 'freaky-close' they are, if they can swap bodies and not even care that much.
Written for the Dipril prompt 'Family'.

Summary
Waddles sniffed for food at the base of an overheated lamp, studiously ignoring the excitement going on behind him. Frustrated with the lack of food, he pushed against it with his nose. It toppled, the glass bulb shattering and catching alight with a spark from the electron carpet. Blue flames spread rapidly across its surface, and frightened screams rose throughout the room.
Oh well. At least he was a pig again.

Summary
Eventually, and he cannot say precisely when, he falls into a fitful sleep at his worktable, head plastered to the parchment, and dreams of seashores and backyard taunts, smirks on bullies’ faces…
When he wakes, hours later, he’s clenching his hands pale.
Tinkering. He’ll build something. Anything. Take his mind off of…bring clarity, yes.
But what to build?
His eyes scan the room, and eventually they settle on the carpet. It’s hideous—a shag area rug, and bright blue, with astonishingly clashing yellow accents.
(How many times, for how much of his childhood, had he wished…he was odd, and Stanley…if they could just switch…It wasn’t as though Ford’s fingers were the only thing that made him strange, and Stanley was…Stanley would be able to bear…)
Ford's relationship with Experiment 78 grows and changes, over the years.
