Summary
Turning towards the kitchen, Otacon could feel his hunger. FOXHOUND, while treating him well enough, never gave him more than required to eat. And after skipping his meal the day they escaped, on top of how much energy the escape had taken, it should be to no one's surprise that he would probably kill for a sandwich right now.
Softly stepping around the room, Otacon approached the pantry. He did feel a bit guilty, eating Snakes food, but they did both have to eat eventually.
He decided to make up for that, and at least a little for saving him from Shadow Moses, by cooking breakfast for the both of them. Or lunch. Or whatever time of day it was, that didn't matter.
There was just an issue. Hal couldn't cook that well.
