Summary
A beautiful life is not equal to happiness, and luxury bags from Dior and an endless bank card account will not drown out the emptiness inside.
Elizabeth Cooper knows firsthand, pretending all her life, remaining cold and reasonable, because her status demanded it.
Her parents were ready to drop the whole world at her feet, in return for one request. And who knew that only one unfortunate contract would lower the girl into the very depths of hell:"You're getting married, honey," Alice murmured with mock sympathy.

“I love you, Sweet Pea,” Betty beams, retrieving the Rossi from the small of her back.
“I love you, Wendy Darling,” Jughead returns, charging the pistol.
They stand together, and she yanks him forward by the front of his shirt to give him a quick kiss. His heart is racing, but the resolute calm in her eyes settles his pulse to a pleased pace. He reminds her to meet him at the rear exit in five minutes, no sooner and no later.
She smiles and nods, and then she fires one warning shot into the ceiling to start the game. “Everybody on the ground!”

Being seasoned for violence does not make her feel invulnerable. It makes her feel expectant.

Stress and drugs. Sex and violence. Cults and serial killers. Pink bubblegum horror to top it off. The distortions of her life spiral around her like a nightmare kaleidoscope and he is the one still point in the maelstrom.

Summary
The expressions are identical but stem from vastly different mindsets. The cause, though, is clear, the one-hundred and sixty pounds of gamy hare standing on their welcome mat, electric blue eyes and lopsided grin. To her mother, a grungy nightmare at odds with her color scheme. To her father, a potential prison sentence.
“Jughead Jones,” he says, introducing an open hand into the threshold.

Summary
Is she the only one who sees this? Is it a figment of her imagination?
She stares at the back of his neck while the graduate discusses sentence structure – the pale nape, the jut of his top vertebrae, his terrible posture. She chose a three-quarters view this time, one row over. He leans back in his seat, and her eyes graze his stomach, the thin layer of baby fat she would peel back to reveal the solid sinew beneath it.
What is the importance of varying sentence structure?
He raises his hand to answer, and she thinks his fingerbones would make the loveliest of windchimes. His broad shoulders are vaguely masculine but nothing else, yet she would sink her teeth into that hidden delicateness if she could. She wants to strip the skin from his back, spread his ribs and crawl inside. She would curl herself within his chest cavity, nestle between his lungs, hug his heart to her stomach and squeeze, feel it flutter like a bird in a cage, squeeze until it stopped.

Summary
He stares at the letters of his name punched into the cheap metal place marker. It looks like tin, like he could fold it up into a small, neat square and tuck it into his breast pocket. He fantasizes for a moment that if he just took the place marker, they would not be able to put the gravestone here. They would be forced to pick another location, a better location. Or they would never be able to plant the epitaph at all, ever. It would only exist in Bret’s breast pocket, the final resting place for Forsythe Pendleton Jones III.

Summary
Summary: Betty thought getting into college a year early was a dream come true. But when she's bullied out of her dorm, she finds herself with nowhere to go. Enter Jughead Jones, a photographer with moonlit eyes and a funny accent. He invites her to stay the night at his place, which he shares with two others. Betty thinks she's hit the jackpot, roommate wise. It seems too good to be true. Archie Andrews, majoring in music, and a liking for Pokemon is the house joker and a terrible cook, and Veronica Lodge is a bouncing ball of energy the second she meets her.
But the house, as well as the residents are hiding something. And the boy she is falling for is complicated, to say the least.
or: Roommate fic with a twist.
