Summary
In Crescent Shoals, humans and sea folk have lived side by side for generations, yet the darkest parts of the ocean remain off-limits—territories belonging to sirens and deep ones, creatures revered and feared in equal measure.
Denki Kaminari, a storm witch with lightning in his veins and heartbreak fresh on his skin, returns home after years inland—exhausted, untethered, and longing for the sea’s voice once more.
Hitoshi Shinsou is half siren, half deep one—too dangerous, too strange, and too unwanted for either species to claim. Cast out after the death of his parents, wounded and alone, he is discovered by Shota Aizawa.
Forbidden friendship becomes curiosity. Curiosity becomes hunger. And as storms gather above Crescent Shoals, both boy and siren learn that the sea chooses what it wants, just as it once chose Hitoshi’s parents.But the Call is stirring again.
And this time, it is calling both of them.
