Zoro watches Sanji weave effortlessly through the crowd, clearly in his element, and can’t help but feel a stab of bitterness.
The problem is the cook looks fucking gorgeous. The golden waves of his hair catch the light and his blue eyes twinkle as he charms the ladies and jokes with anyone who pauses to take food from his tray. He’s the brightest thing in the room, and Zoro just feels dull and miserable in comparison.

Opening the door with a wasted idiot plastered to his side takes some maneuvering, but it’s worth the effort. The sight of the inside of the galley is a relief, and Sanji only needs to guide Zoro a few unsteady steps before practically pouring him into his usual seat at the dining room table. Zoro flops heavily into the chair and blinks hazily up at Sanji.
“Where you goin’?” he asks before hiccuping loudly. The hiccup makes his belly bounce in his lap and finally forces Zoro to notice the way his bare gut sticks out in front of him. Flushing darker red, he tries to tug his haramaki over it with uncoordinated hands. It ends up crooked, and the stretched fabric only makes his stomach look rounder.
Unsightly, Sanji tries to tell himself even as his heart whispers cute.

Zoro and Sanji have been bickering for almost the entire time they've known each other, but on some random night, Zoro finds himself drunk and staring at Sanji while he cooks. Zoro knows he should look away, look at his Sake or do anything other than stare, but he's entranced.
Sanji knows he likes Zoro, but doesn't know what to do about it. His situation doesn't get any better as a drunk, brazen Zoro unintentionally worsens his crisis.
Nami watches both of them in delight.

Luffy leans over the edge of the top of the rocks, into Zoro’s face. Zoro, who looks upside down at Luffy with nothing but a full heart and a gratefulness for the new company.
He’s considering reaching up to fit his hand against Luffy’s cheek, rub his thumb across the soft skin and pull him into a small kiss, one that he is always craving, no matter how many Luffy gives him.
Instead, Luffy takes both hands and grabs Zoro on either side of his face and all but mashes his forehead into Zoro’s nose from how close he gets. His eyes are wild, a small sheen of sweat that dapples his skin like he’s been having way too much fun out there by himself.
“Come dance with me.”
“Huh?”
