Lisa Manoban, a prodigious F1 racer, was gearing up for what she hoped would be one of the most memorable races of her life. After the finish line, she would quit and start a life beyond the track with the love of her life, Roseanne Park.
Celebrated stage actress Roseanne Park, known for her ethereal presence on stage, had been Lisa’s rock despite the track becoming her place of melancholic memory, and the echoing cheers at the grandstands her haunting melody since her dad, Mason, died in a fatal crash in that same place, on that same race—the Seoul Grand Prix.
It was on the final lap when the tragedy of five years ago came flashing before Roseanne’s eyes.
Only this time, it was Lisa facing the tragedy that would claim her life.
