Summary
As he turned it in his hands, he noticed the lettering around the circumference of the circle. He tried to sound out what could be written. “LASSTO? ASSTOL?” He was squinting at it harder, the writing seemed far too neat to have been his own, but who else would write something so nonsensical?
“STOLAS– What the fuck!” As the word left his mouth, the paper burst into blue flames. Burning out so fast, it had completely disappeared before reaching the ground when Blitzø instinctively dropped it.
His heart raced wildly, and some primal part of Blitzø was terrified. Suddenly, the church seemed to close in. Too dark, the shadows were shifting deliberately, pressing in. An errant thought crossed his mind that any monsters hiding within would soon consume him.
