Summary
The Celestials and Terrestrials are at war. They've fought for so long that no-one can remember how it started. Despite this, neither tribe has been able to wipe the other out. After centuries of fighting, they have reached an unstable truce: they will live in peace, but ritualistically attack each other every blood moon. This agreement has held for decades.
The Celestials are in possession of a magical artifact which will supposedly end the feud if it's ever released. It turns out to be an egg which houses a creature capable of granting a wish. Once it does this, it will die. The story begins right before the next blood moon, when the egg starts to unexpectedly hatch.
