Summary
You, the reader, are recruited to work at The Commission after almost dying in a horrible, gruesome car crash. You never wanted to be here, working as an assassin, but you had choice - join The Commission or die. While working for the bureaucratic agency, you meet Number Five, who seems disillusioned with his job and wants a way out. You and Number Five slowly bond, Five comes to trust you, and he convinces you to ditch the time-travel psychos and join him on his mission. His mission to stop the apocalypse, and save the world. Along the way, you and Five share coffee, cigarettes, and romantic love.
