“H—hug.” He mutters so quietly, Oliver almost doesn’t hear him.
“What?”
Randy shuffles to look away from Oliver. “Nevermind.”
“I can give you a hug! I’m pretty fuckin’ good at those,” Oliver’s voice is cheery, but he keeps it quiet, too afraid to scare off Randy as if he’s an injured animal. “C’mere, Giant.”

“You’re a dick for…” Randy thought for a moment, approaching Oliver. “Eh, I don’t know. You—you haven’t done anything for me to insult you.”
“Let’s just keep it that way then.” Oliver leaves the cloth on the counter and turns on his heel to face Randy.
“I just— oh fuck.” Randy’s face drops as he eyes something on Oliver’s neck, eyes widened and mouth slightly agape.
“What?” Oliver washes over with panic, slightly turning his head to the side. “Is something wrong?”
“Just— uhh—“ Randy coughs awkwardly and looks away. “You might want to look in a mirror?”

“Yeah, just,” Oliver pauses and Randy begins to approach the door. Except he’s purposely walking slower than regular, and Oliver knows exactly what Randy’s thinking about. He sort of wishes he didn’t. But he dug himself into this hole, it’s his job to climb back out. “Wait, Randy.”
Randy turns on his heel with a little smile, meeting Oliver’s eyes and he crosses his arms. “Yeah?”
“Fuck it,” He sighs. “C’mon, we’ve gotta talk.”
“Was waiting for you to say that.”

The two are stuck in silence. Oliver cannot get himself to say anything. He subconsciously wraps his arms around his stomach, feeling the sweat stick to his skin as if it was glue.

That was an even odder question. A question Oliver wasn’t completely against.
“Where, exactly?”
Their voices were hushed, they could only hear each other and their quiet breathing.
“Your—your body?” It came out more like a question than a defining answer.
Oliver was expecting the forehead, since they always exchanged friendly kisses on the forehead. His own body was like a sanctuary. It was only for Oliver to look and feel.
But Randy was different. Randy was someone Oliver trusted with his life. His body.
“Yea—yeah, okay.”
Vulnerability was something Oliver was never good at. Crying in front of people, letting them get too close, letting them see him shirtless.
He’s decided. Tonight, he will let himself be vulnerable. Tonight, he will let himself feel alright. Tonight, he has decided that he will let someone else touch him.
