Summary
Ranboo watches as the boy in front of him, the golden wisps of hair near his face now dark and sticky against his skin, in all of their tear-stained glory, watching quietly as Tommy’s shaky fingers picks up a pencil from his desk, and Tommy has to force his limbs to cooperate before he drops it, head cradled in his hands once again.
The little paper crane in Tubbo’s hands wilted a little.
“I can’t do it.” Tommy whispers, eyes meeting with Ranboo’s coloured ones, burning with cold ferocity, “Why can’t I do it?”
“Do what?” Ranboo asks softly.
“I can’t finish what she started.” The blonde boy collapsed into Tubbo’s arms.

Phil doesn’t come home very often, Techno’s in school and Wilbur writes music, but Tommy doesn’t do any of that.
He finds an abandoned book, and he draws instead.
