One I’ve long since learned to trust,” He looked at Arthur pleadingly, “One I feel I’ve given you ample evidence to trust as well,” He continued sadly.
Maybe it was just another "silly feeling", but Merlin knew this wouldn’t end well.

When Danyal, now Danny, met the eyes of his brother- of Damian, he was unsure of the reaction he was expected to have.
Did they expect a tearful reunion? He could do that. Was he meant to shake his brother’s hand, and move on to whatever was next? He could do it, any of it, he just needed to know what they wanted from him.
Damian made the decision for him. He looked at him for half a second, and Danny knew those eyes. He felt himself tense, but Damian only scoffed lowly, turned on his heel, and walked away.
