She tried her hardest not to twitch as it slowly leaned down, and licked her neck. It was warm, too warm. It felt so disgusting on her skin, so slimy. Like it had been salivating.
Caretaker was well aware that it knew she wasn’t dead now, but a part of her was screaming at herself to keep her eyes shut, that maybe she could keep this ruse up. The other said, “I’m a dead woman walking anyway. Might as well, right?”
