  Summary

  Kassandra touched her baby brother's cheek lightly, crying out to him to wake. His rattled breaths came out quickly, jarred from the fall from Taygetos.

  But he was breathing, and she could save him.

  So she ran, holding him close to her chest, until she found a boat which fit them both, and put it out into the storm, world waiting.
