  Summary

  “It’s not unrealistic to have these kinds of perceptions of yourself, especially when your father put you through what he did, Shouto.”

  “But…” Shouto blinks, confused. “Okaasan, you—” He swallows, trying to dislodge the lump that has formed in his throat. “He hurt you so much. And you, neesan, and Natsu-nii…” Shouto looks from his mother to his siblings, his mismatched eyes meeting every single one of theirs in quick succession. “And…with what happened to Touya-nii…he’s hurt you all so much.”

  “Shouto…” Natsuo says his brother’s name slowly, softly. He fixes his gaze on Shouto, and tightens his grip on his bubble tea cup. “He’s hurt you, too.”

  Bookmarker's Notes

  Where Shoto goes to see Rei with Natsuo and Fuyumi and they get him boba tea. Shoto tells them that Aizawa introduced him to a therapist and he likes therapy so far. He mentions that the therapist wants him to write a timeline of when he started feeling depressed and useless. Natsuo says that Shoto has to go far back then and Shoto is confused by this, and says it's recent and mentions how Endeavor hurt Rei, Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Touya or Dabi.

  Natsuo points out that Endeavor hurt Shoto too and this confuses Shoto and makes Fuyumi hug him.

  Shoto goes back home to UA dorms, but instead of getting on the train, Shoto starts to wonder around aimlessly around the street. Shoto watches some Christmas lights and then it turns dark. Shoto is surprised when he gets a call from Bakugou who ask where Shoto is since he's been gone all day and now it's night time and curfew time. Shoto is surprised that it's this late.

  Bakugou ask where Shoto is and Shoto says he doesn't know but says he does not need a search party when Bakugou ask about it. Shoto is surprised that Bakugou is worried about him and Bakugou just says that he has to make sure didn't get kidnapped but Shoto ask who would want to kidnap him and Bakugou says the villains like the League of Villains. As Shoto crosses the street he ask if Bakugou has ever done something but stops midways and just trails off and Bakugou ask if Shoto is still there and if he's okay. Shoto mentions that Natsuo had something something to him that day that messed him up and Bakugou ask what he said but Shoto remains quiet so Bakugou says that Shoto doesn't have to tell him and Shoto says he promise that he will tell him oneday.

  Shoto gets on the train and sighs and Bakugou ask if he's okay again and he says yes. Shoto is quiet and so is Bakugou and Shoto eventually tells Bakugou to tell him about his day so he does. Eventually, Shoto tells Bakugou that they were talking about Endeavor and Shoto says that he never really thought about how Endeavor had hurt him too. Bakugou goes quiet for awhile, but then he suddenly ask how long until Shoto gets to the dorm and when he tells him Bakugou tells him he got to go and hangs up. Shoto is surprised and wonders if he offended Bakugou.

  But when Shoto gets off the bus or train he's surprised to see that Bakugou is waiting outside with him in the cold winter snowy weather. Bakugou admits that Shoto didn't sound like himself when he was on the phone and this makes Shoto's eyes tear up and he hugs Bakugou and thanks him. As they walk to the dorm, they hold hands.
