Summary
This emotional, poetic one-shot takes place after Moon Baek shoots Jo-Hyeon-sik and Lee Do. Before losing consciousness, we take a trip into Lee Do's thoughts and feelings, as he is struggling with the aftermath of his past actions, and his feelings when it comes to Moon Baek, a man he cannot bring himself to hurt. There is a silent understanding between them, a shared recognition of pain and loss.
Moon Baek, too, is trapped in his own internal struggle, sitting for after a very long time, alone in a room with his thoughts. With his body failing due to illness, and his mind clouded with anger and regret, he remains determined to leave behind a legacy, to prove that he is more than just the man Lee Do sees.
Their twisted fates have collided, and despite all the suffering, the story explores the quiet, mutual understanding between the two men, caught in their own spirals, neither able to escape the shadows of their past. Each of them is drowning in their own torment, facing their demons, but neither willing to back down.
The one-shot is a deep dive into trauma, guilt, and the internal battles of two complex characters, both of whom are at their breaking points, and yet still, they refuse to let go.
