doll has been alone her whole life. not even lizzy really truly understood what she was grappling with. this is not a path she would have chosen if not for her solver.
uzi has been a loner their whole life. no one cared to understand them. they barely understand theirself now, with this... thing now awakened.
there are not a lot of situations in which they are similar - but a split-second desicion changes that.
