Not a canon story!

Not a word on them, from them, about them, not from the institute nor the police for an entire year. Jay had had enough of the questions that led nowhere, of paper upon paper of legal nonsense she barely understood but had to read thoroughly. Of fingers being pointed and monsters made of the misunderstood.
A year spent mourning until, like a storm breaking over the horizon, she knew what to do.
A year spent learning to sail in a boat full of memories.
Wherever they were, whatever had happened, Jay was going to find out the truth. She was going to prove the seafolk weren't to blame for the disappearance of the Doctors Raster...
... or she would die trying.
