"The drugs out of your system yet?" Dick asks.
"Almost." Jason replies in a beat, feet shuffling underneath him.
Dick gives him another gentle smile, Jason tries his best to avoid it's warmth. "You hungry?"
Immediately, Jason snarls, eyes glowing a toxic green as he glares down at the man still wrapped in the crinkled blankets, "I'm not fourteen anymore, Dick-face, I don't need you to feed me, I'm not a child," - anymore, he doesn't add.
Dick doesn't seem amused, staring right back with the acid yellow and Jason feels the stubborness radiating off of him, "Do you want me to feed you, though?"
Jason straightens, growling: "No."
Yes. He wants to say, fumbling with the soft feeling in his chest, just this once.
