Summary
Kiba's shout broke the silence, "No, Akamaru!" But it was too late. The dog had lunged at Naruto in an attempt to get his attention, inadvertently causing Naruto to stumble toward Sasuke. Naruto could have easily corrected his course, but he chose not to. He wanted to fall into Sasuke's arms. Sasuke, too, remained still, even leaning in slightly to ensure the full impact of their collision. The moment happened so quickly that their lips met.
Both Naruto and Sasuke were wide-eyed, stunned by the unexpected intimacy. After a moment, Naruto began to pull away, but Sasuke was quicker. Gripping the fabric of Naruto's jacket, he held him in place. Sasuke then closed his eyes and deepened the kiss, pulling Naruto closer.
Caught off guard but eager to reciprocate, Naruto wrapped his arm around Sasuke's waist and returned the kiss with equal fervor. When they finally broke apart, both were breathless. Naruto leaned into the crook of Sasuke's neck and whispered, "Why does it always have to be you, Teme?"
Sasuke could hear the smile in Naruto's voice and found himself grinning in response. He planted a quick peck on Naruto's cheek and murmured, "Hn, maybe because you keep throwing yourself at me, Usuratonkachi."

“I… I… I… I wanted to ask you if you would like to go out on a date with me, Naruto-kun?”
There is pole that heads in the direction where Naruto and Hinata are standing. Yes, Sasuke throws a pole because that is what he was gripping to when he was overhearing the conversation. Naruto was startled, before he uses his chakra to catch the pole. He looks in that direction and finds Sasuke now jumping and walking towards them. Naruto smirks.
“Uh,.. Hinata…”
“We are getting late, usuratonkachi”
Naruto was smiling his sunshine smile and Sasuke really wanted to hit that perfect face of his for making him embarrassed like that.
“Sasuke-kun”
Sasuke nods in her direction and then looks at Naruto again who was still gleeful. God, I am really going to hit him so badly, Sasuke thought.
“Naruto-kun, so will you go out on a date with me?”
Before Naruto can reply, Sasuke looks at her with his stoic expression and replies, “He can’t!”
Naruto now is biting his lips to force him to not start laughing and Sasuke turns towards him giving him a dead panned look, but a hint of blush on Sasuke’s face is not invisible to Naruto.
