The man--Thomas, a detective--writhed on the bed, gasping and tugging at the silk restraints. "Oh Dhia cabhrú liom," Thomas whined, tipping his head back as Paul sucked a bruise at the corner of his jaw. Sally sketched the scene in quick, broad strokes. Charcoal smudging across the page.
