This was inspired by Dandybear’s beautiful fic, “please say hello” (https://archiveofourown.info/works/30028332). It’s the only fic I found that writes a specific scene where Vision adopts the opposite anatomy to be intimate with Wanda. I alluded to it in Synthesis, but ultimately cut the scene. At the urging of the Scarvis discord, I’ve released it, along with adding more and making it its own. It helps to read Synthesis, it’s in the adaptive maintenance universe, but you definitely don’t have to.

Scott and Clint were friends at one point in time, but after an incident when they were younger they fell apart hard. Practically became enemies, now they have to work together as Avengers.
And instead of Scott's old feelings about the archer dying and staying dead, they're back from the dead. Or maybe they never died in the first place. And it doesn't help that Clint is being a bit of a asshole. Though Scott isn't being the nicest person to him either.
Safe to say that the situation is pretty tense.

It’s a foolish line of questioning. Being so direct often results in a defensive answer. One hoping to deflect any probing. Of course everything’s fine, is the automatic response. The boys are bored, un-challenged in their current state. Perhaps they should be moved up a grade, or into gifted classes.
“They’ve recently been separated from their mother,” he sighs.
“Oh. I’m very sorry. Divorce or...?”
He feels his hackles raise and he squeezes his hands hard enough to whiten his knuckles, “A separation,” he repeats.

They stay in Wanda’s room for a while, as Vision pieces the thoughts together, bouncing ideas and concepts off her in English and Sokovian both until they have some cohesive idea of what to say.
“You want me to help too?” Wanda checks for a third time and for a third time Vision nods.
“You helped me be certain,” they say. “And… you know better than I do, when they do not understand, or when they misunderstand.”
Wanda smiles at that, takes Vision’s hand in hers and leans to press a kiss to Vision’s cheek, quick and impulsive.
