“You’re lucky I saved you at all.” Jason’s eyes sharpened, voice dropping low, almost growling.
“I don’t want your luck!” Tim hissed, teeth gritted, voice cracking. “I—” He stumbled on the uneven asphalt, wincing as his ankle throbbed sharply. “I saved you first!”
Jason turned his back, shoulders tense, dismissive. “Yeah. Debt’s been paid. So why don’t you fuck off now?”
“Not without my stuff,” Tim spat, determination overriding the pain in his ankle.
