Summary
After their fight, Simon realizes what he's become. He chooses to run away from Grace, and from the Apex. Several weeks later, he reappears in the Mall Car with a much lower number.
Four years later, on Earth, Simon is living a quiet life in rural Quebec while still trying to process the sins of his past. An impromptu visit from Grace forces him to finally come to terms with everything that happened between them on the Train.
