Adam had a half-full cup of coffee—his third one since he had woken up three hours ago—sitting next to the stack of papers he was grading. As Shiro watched, Adam sighed deeply and reached up to take off his glasses, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
Shiro knew he had to do something to help him out. Something to brighten his mood and lighten the tense atmosphere. Like a silly joke.
"Hey, Adam." He waited until Adam looked up before continuing. "How do you roast a cobbler?"
Shiro tries to ease Adam's stress by telling him a joke. It doesn't go as planned. A wholesome moment between Adashi and some Broganes sibling banter, tied together with So Much Love.
