“i’m glad you get along with jungkookie,” yoongi murmurs as he pulls away.
taehyung shoots him a smile before starting the car, turning to pay attention to the road while he pulls off from the curb. “i am too. he’s a sweet kid, it’s hard not to get along with him.” he taps his hands on the steering wheel as he drives, and yoongi hums.
“still. would’ve sucked if you two hated each other, considering he’s my only friend.”
that gets a quick side look, and a bit of a frown. “you have other friends.”
“i have acquaintances, and people that used to be friends that have distanced themselves over the past year.” yoongi shrugs and looks out the window, trying to appear as though he doesn’t really care. he does, though not very much, truthfully. he’d rather have one close friend than a bunch of superficial ones.
taehyung doesn’t respond right away, knowing well that the topic of yoongi’s other ‘friends’ can be a sore spot. by the time he does reply, they’re pulling into the parking garage of taehyung’s condo. “if you would meet my friends, you’d have more.”
