Summary
Severa is born on a Monday, when the infirmary is caked in snow and the trees in the courtyard are tangles of dead branches dipped in frost. Born to the cold and windy royal palace, the daughter of the Chon'sin queen and a Ylissean pegasus knight, dark-haired and angry, born for a destiny she had no hand in choosing for herself.
