Summary
The earth is dying, with a large chemical spill quickly turning the ocean to a pink oobleck-like substance, the majority of earth's richest residents take to the moon to escape the consiquences of their own actions. 1000 years in the future a small gang of criminals for hire venture in a homely hovercraft across the pink oobleck-like expanse that has flooded earth's oceans. With some lunians choosing to return to their homeworld after abandoning the planet in its darkest hour, trouble and a new mysterious substance follow their migration. During the crew's travels in the deep north of what once was north America, they are joined by an disgraced detective who has stumbled onto something bigger than any of them could've imagined.
