The sun shines perfectly in a way that makes her glow in the sunlight and for a moment all he can think about is how he would give up all the riches in his ender chest just to see her smile at him like this forever.
He thinks about how he would sacrifice every fiber of his being, all the blood in his veins and the lives he has left to keep her laughter bottled up in a jar and listen to it in the silences when she isn’t there. How he would give up the entire kingdom, let it fall into ruins just for a touch of his lips on her shoulder.
