Summary
With the family swelling year after year, the annual gift-buying frenzy became a logistical nightmare. It isn't about financial strain — the real hurdle is an absolute avalanche of people to cater to, and they want everyone to feel cherished and attended to... So, for a few Christmases now, they've adopted the sanity-preserving Secret Santa swap strategy, with the following rules applying: Each Santa draws name slips from three distinct pools: a bought gift, a self-crafted creation, and a heartfelt Christmas card.
